Reverse Osmosis in Queen Creek, Fitted With Care Under Your Sink
Reverse osmosis gives you clean, good-tasting water for drinking, coffee and cooking straight from a small faucet at your kitchen sink. We test your water first, then our partner plumber fits the system with tight, checked connections and a proper drain line.
How Reverse Osmosis Works in Your Kitchen
Reverse osmosis sends tap water through several filters and an extremely fine membrane. First, sediment and carbon stages trap grit and chlorine. Then the membrane stops most dissolved minerals and many trace contaminants. The cleaned water waits in a small tank and flows to its own faucet whenever you fill a glass or a pot.
An RO unit serves one sink and treats only drinking and cooking water. Showers, the washer and every other tap still get regular water. If your main concern is scale on fixtures or chlorine odor in the shower, whole-home filtration or a water softener covers every faucet, and we would point you there.
Much of the East Valley has hard, mineral-rich water, which leaves white spots on glasses and a chalky, flat taste. RO fixes that taste well. Since the job sits under your sink beside supply lines and a drain, we treat each connection as a possible leak and check it before leaving.
What Your Reverse Osmosis Install Includes
- A water test before anything is chosen
- Your free water test comes with zero obligation. It tells us how hard your water is and what else is in it, so the membrane and prefilters match what actually comes out of your tap.
- Fitting by a partner plumber
- A partner plumber taps the cold line with a proper feed valve and keeps the system clear of the hot line and the disposal. The feed is placed where you can reach it to shut the system off.
- A correct drain connection
- The reject water needs a drain saddle or air gap so used water can never back up into the system. This is the step most often rushed on do-it-yourself installs, and it is the one we spend the most time on.
- Dedicated faucet and storage tank
- We mount the drinking faucet on your sink or countertop and set the tank where it is easy to reach. Qualifying systems carry a lifetime warranty on the system tank.
- Startup flush and leak check
- We sanitize and flush the system, discard the first tanks of water, and check every fitting under pressure. Your cabinet is dry and clean when we pack up.
Signs Reverse Osmosis Is the Right Call
You buy bottled water every week
If cases of water fill your pantry, an RO faucet can replace them. No more hauling jugs from the store.
Coffee, tea or ice tastes off
Dissolved minerals and chlorine both change taste. RO removes most of both, so drinks taste the way they should.
White crust in your kettle
Scale in a kettle or coffee maker means the water you drink carries a heavy mineral load. RO takes most of it out before it reaches the cup.
Questions about older plumbing
If you have older fixtures or are unsure what your pipes are made of, a test can show whether metals like lead are present. Many RO systems are rated to reduce lead, and we will show you the rating for the one we suggest.
Someone at home needs extra care
Families with a new baby, an older parent or a health concern often want an added layer of treatment for drinking water. RO is a sensible, contained way to get it.
What Changes the Price of Reverse Osmosis
Water treatment systems include installation, so the price covers both the unit and fitting it. The system you pick and the space under your sink drive most of the difference. Once your water test results are in, we give you installed system pricing by phone.
Which system you choose
A standard unit with a storage tank costs the least. Tankless models run higher, as do units with a last stage that adds a little mineral back in for a smoother taste.
Your counter and faucet opening
A sink with an open hole lets the faucet drop straight in. Drilling a new hole through stone takes extra time and care.
Lines to the fridge or ice maker
Sending RO water to a refrigerator or ice maker takes more tubing and a longer route, which adds to the work.
How hard your water is
Hard water wears out membranes sooner. Your test may show that a water softener in front of the RO would protect the membrane and cut filter costs over time.
What Happens on Install Day
- 1
We test before we recommend
We check your water and explain the numbers in plain terms. If a different option would serve you better than RO, we say so and point you to it.
- 2
Get the sink cabinet ready
We clear out the cabinet, line it, spread a drop cloth and shut the cold supply before any fitting is touched. Nothing gets cut or tapped with water running.
- 3
Set the unit and hook it up
The plumber mounts the filter housing, sets the tank, fits the faucet and runs the supply and drain lines. Every tube is cut straight and pushed fully home so each fitting seals.
- 4
Flush, check and walk you through it
We flush the system, pressure-test each connection and show you where the shutoff valve is. We also go over when the filters are due and how to change them safely.

Common Reverse Osmosis Questions
Does RO send water down the drain?
Some of it, yes. Part of the water exits through the drain line with whatever the membrane removed. How much depends on the unit's design and your home's water pressure. Newer models drain less, and we can line up a few for you to compare.
Does RO water taste bland?
With the minerals removed, some people find it very clean or slightly flat. A remineralization stage puts a little back, and a lot of families like that better. We can go over both choices when you call.
Can RO water feed my refrigerator?
In most homes, yes. A narrow supply tube runs from the unit under the sink to the fridge, so both the dispenser and the ice use filtered water. The distance to the fridge and the route the tube takes affect the price.
When do the filters need replacing?
Prefilters are typically swapped more often than the membrane, and hard water can shorten the life of both. We base your schedule on your test results and show you how to close the supply and change filters cleanly.
Is the system covered by a warranty?
Qualifying systems carry a lifetime warranty on system tanks. Before you choose, we will let you know if the one you are looking at qualifies.
Who installs the system?
One of our partner plumbers handles each install, using the same careful routine every time, from closing the supply to the last pressure check. Customers have given us 3 five-star Google reviews, and we hope yours comes next.
